A name inspired
by discovery.
LAVERAN LAB pays tribute to Charles Louis Alphonse Laveran, the French physician and scientist whose pioneering research transformed the understanding of infectious disease.
In 1880, while working in Constantine, Algeria, Laveran identified the parasite responsible for malaria. His work challenged established thinking and opened new paths in medical research. In 1907, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in recognition of his work on the role played by protozoa in causing disease.
Our name is a tribute to that spirit of scientific curiosity: observe carefully, question convention and pursue meaningful progress. LAVERAN LAB is an independent skincare brand and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Nobel Foundation, the Institut Pasteur or any institution associated with Alphonse Laveran.
